"Working as an intern for I4D has been a very rewarding experience. I have had the opportunity to intern with the Department of Defense of Army Sustainment Command as a procurement technician intern. Before the program, I didn’t have much knowledge about the government, the internship allowed me to enhance my education as well as my professional development. I am so thankful to have been given the opportunity to travel and experience a new location while gaining meaningful knowledge with the government. I4D was also able to help assist me with housing and transportation, which allowed for an easier transition. I would like to thank Internships4Diverity Program for being committed to helping diverse college students like myself pursue opportunities with the Federal Government; you all have definitely made an impact on my life, and I would recommend the program to others."
Ariel Bowman: Intern
I4D gave me the opportunity to gain real life work experience through their internship program. Through the program I learned a great deal of skill sets that I will be able to transfer to my career path. Business Staffing of America made my out of state internship experience as smooth as possible, answering all my questions and concerns in a timely manner. This staff has always provided me with a great piece of mind, and I am truly thankful for the experience they have provided me with."

"Being a part of the MCRP internship program has truly been an enlightening and life-altering experience. Prior to this internship, I ultimately lacked exposure to a professional environment and had little experience to include on my resume. Now that I’ve endured several months in a professional office, working with Human Resources Specialists, attending their meetings, and assisting with their projects, I’ve gained many of the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in any entry level position. I’ve enjoyed the tasks I was given throughout the internship, feeling that they were both challenging and meaningful. Thanks to the completion of my projects, I feel more confident in myself and my ability to take on “the real world”. The most rewarding aspect of this internship for me has been being offered and accepting a full-time position with the United States Army. I highly recommend participating in the MCRP internship if you’re an individual who is looking to gain professional skills, is seeking insight in your future career field, and/or is desiring a full-time position with the United States Army."

"Thank you so much for giving me an opportunity to participate in the Minority College Relations Program. It was a tremendous learning experience for me and it allowed me to have a different perspective in life. MCAAP left a huge mark in my life. They taught me to be patient, pay attention to details, and most of all always be war ready. It also opened another door in my life. After graduation, I would love to participate in civil service. It would help me improve on things in my life. For example: having a work-life balance, job development, and job security."
