The Internship4Diversity Program provides students with the opportunity to merge academic theory with practical application in the workplace through full-time and part-time internships. The program allows talented college students to experience the full scope and diversity of career opportunities available in the management, professional, and technical domains of participating entities.
The Internship4Diversity Program is a well-designed program that offers students far more than the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience in professional environments. As an I4D intern, you will receive:

Training
Interns have the opportunity to attend special seminars and workshops to enhance their professional and personal development

Counseling
A team of professionals, most with experience in postsecondary administration and/or employment counseling and placement, is available at all times to offer guidance and lend assistance and

Academic Credit
Students may receive academic credit for internships. Students should advise I4D of eligibility requirements after checking with the appropriate office on their campuses.
Who Can Apply?

Applications are accepted online from full-timeundergraduate and graduate students. Students in good academic standing with their institutions are encouraged to apply. However, priority is given to students with a minimum 3.0 or better grade point average. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

How are interns selected?

Interns are selected by the participating agencies, when students are selected by agencies, I4D will notify the student. I4D does not select the interns.

Are internships paid?

Yes, all internships are paid positions. I4D also provides housing assistance, and training, and manages the on-boarding process.

Where are interns placed?

I4D has overseen the placement of college and university students in internships with the Federal Government at work sites throughout the United States. There are no general listings of work sites since they change each session.

Is the Internship4Diversity Program restricted to minorities?

No, all students are encouraged to apply.
